How the checker works
Enter a URL and we check the five things that decide whether AI search tools can use your site.
Enter your site
Paste your homepage or any page you want AI tools to find and cite.
We check AI access
We read your robots.txt for search and AI crawlers, from Googlebot to OAI-SearchBot, and look for an llms.txt file.
We check the page
We look at indexing, structured data, titles, headings and Open Graph tags.
Fix what's flagged
Each issue links to the free tool that fixes it, from the robots.txt generator to our schema generators.
Want AI search to cite you, not just crawl you?
We build AEO strategies that get B2B SaaS brands mentioned and cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is AI search readiness?
It's whether AI search tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI Overviews can reach your pages, read them and understand what they're about. If they can't, they can't cite you, however good your content is.
How is the score calculated?
Out of 100: AI crawler access (40 points), indexing (20), structured data (15), content basics (15) and llms.txt (10). Crawler access weighs most, because a blocked crawler can't use your site at all. Blocking training-only crawlers like GPTBot doesn't lower your score.
Does a high score mean AI tools will mention me?
No. It means nothing technical is stopping them. Whether you get mentioned depends on your content, your reputation across the web and how well you answer the questions buyers ask. Track that with a prompt list, like the one from our AEO prompt generator.
Do I need llms.txt?
It's optional and still a proposed standard, so it carries the least weight in the score. It's quick to add, and it gives AI tools a clean map of your most important pages.
Why does it check Googlebot and Bingbot?
Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode use Googlebot, and Microsoft Copilot draws on Bing's index. If those crawlers are blocked, you're out of those AI answers too.
